A little about me -
My name is Karen R Scoville. Growing up I spent much of my time doing various arts & crafts projects. I had several private art lessons and took all the art classes available in high school.
Life took a few unexpected turns, as it often does, and as a young adult and mother, I spent the years serving as a missionary with my family and home schooling my eight children, bringing a love for Jesus, as well as art and creativity into their lives. We traveled most of those 20 years throughout the US & Canada. And lived among the beautiful people of India for 5 years in the 1980′s, a memorable time!
When my family settled down for a few years in Nova Scotia, Canada in the 1990′s, I started a children’s entertainment business providing puppet shows, animal balloons & face painting for parties, public events, etc. with my eldest daughter, Nina. Fun times! I made these puppets by carving them from foam rubber and painting them with acrylic paint. Then sewing and gluing clothing, hair and props. We made a theatre with painted backdrops. Due to a back injury I can no longer do this, but I’m glad to have many happy memories of that time!
We have settled back in my home town in Ohio. My children have grown into wonderful loving adults. I am so proud of my children and grandchildren!
Presently I am working from home running my online shops.
Thanks for visiting! God bless you!
